NEW ZEALAND JETBOATING - Safe & Reliable

Alpine Jet has a history of 100% safe and reliable operation for New Zealand jetboating. Please relax in the knowledge that all our drivers are trained to the high standards set by the Maritime New Zealand and Qualmark™ and our jet boats undergo annual safety audits by Maritime New Zealand. All Alpine Jet boat drivers complete 100 hours of New Zealand jetboating driving before carrying passengers and they undertake regular assessment by a senior driver. All drivers are qualified for emergency first aid.

The minimum age is 2 years old, children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Pregnant women are advised not to partake in jet boating. People with medical concerns should mention these at time of booking. The gorge is a confined area and often large pressure waves appear. Passengers are thoroughly briefed on safety requirements prior to all departures. Boarding is via a 30 foot portable jetty complete with handrails.
